Sliding Scale Saturday!

It’s Pay What You Desire week over at Sacred.

As in, go to yoga (or Intensati or dance or new, fun kids’ classes), and pay what you want, what you feel like, what you can.

I love it.

Inspired by the new people walking through the studio door, by Sacred’s offer of affordable access to feeling good, by my own deep belief that everyone deserves a good massage, I’m offering up Sliding Scale Saturday. Because, while my work is worth every penny of my regular rate, sometimes you just don’t have a hundred dollars. And sometimes, the days when you can’t swing the cost of good care are the days when you need it most. For that reason, I’m offering one-hour massages on Saturday for whatever you can pay.

That’s this very Saturday, September 15. Four slots only. Snatch one up!

No questions about your finances or what you can afford. I am simply setting a sliding scale of $35-$100 and asking you to decide what you can pay. Honor system in effect.

Here’s how to secure your spot:

• Book your massage here.
• Search for a 60-minute session on Saturday (uncheck the other days), and go ahead and book it.
• When you get to the payment screen, enter Sliding Scale Saturday in the promotion code box. Your booking will be adjusted, and you will not be charged at this time.
• Come in on Saturday. Pay in person, whatever you can afford.

Here is the fine print: Show up. That’s it. There are only 4 appointments, and booking one and bailing means that someone else can’t have it. Please give 24-hours notice if you need to cancel. There’s no financial penalty for skipping your appointment, but you will be blocked from signing up for future sliding scale sessions. That doesn’t make anyone feel good, so let’s just avoid it: give me a call if you can’t make it, and all will be well. 917-755-2012. Or you can email me here.
